Granite Gear Crown VC 60
I picked up this pack at REI as it was one of the few lightweight options they had in stock. It is comfortable with a full load, will fit a BV 500 horizontally in the bottom of the pack, and has decent pocket capacity, while cheaper than ULA packs.

Capacity: 60 L
Cons: the main pack space is taller and narrow (would prefer wider), and there’s no front storage options in the front, meaning you’ll have to stop and remove the pack to access anything. I’ll frequently hike with a fanny pack slung in front between the shoulder straps for quick access to essentials, but that’s a work around.
